Daniel's Knee Injuries: Ligament and Cartilage Structure,Function,Injury, and Repair

Three editors (two affiliated with the department of orthopedics, U. of California, San Diego and the third with the department of engineering science, Oxford U.) carry on the work of Dale Daniel (deceased), whose first edition of this book was published in 1990. Twenty-eight contributions—arranged in sections on structure, function, injury and repair, and special issues— incorporate the voluminous amounts of new thinking on the subject. Coverage extends beyond the first edition's focus on the anterior cruciate ligament to encompass the basic science and clinical treatment of the posterior cruciate ligament and posterolateral corners, as well as multiligament and articular cartilage injuries. A CD-ROM is included (its contents are not specified).
