Designed as a reference for radiologists, this atlas is clearly organized, well illustrated, and thorough within its concise format. Over 200 different pathologies are discussed, grouped among ten spaces; masticator, parotid, visceral, retropharyngeal, prevertebral, parapharyngeal, carotid, buccal, sublingual, and submandibular. An introductory discussion is provided for each of the spaces. The entries on pathology include epidemiology, clinical presentation, pathology, treatment, and imaging findings. In addition, imaging pearls describe helpful tips and information based on the authors' experience in the field (Mukherji is at the U. of Michigan, Chong at Singapore General Hospital). The images are mainly CT and MR; some are ultrasound and angiography.
