Complementary and alternative therapies can play a significant role in the management of many neurological disorders. Some outline a number of the therapies, including botanicals, chiropractice, massage, acupuncture, naturopathic medicine, ayurvedic medicine, and religious involvement. Others start at the other end, describing the use of complementary therapies in such neurological conditions as headache, epilepsy, dementia, peripheral neuropathy, insomnia, snoring or obstructive sleep apnea, and families of children with disabilities.
